Timothy John (Tim) Berners-Lee ( June 8, 1955 in London) together with his former manager, Fleming, Robert Cailliau, the inventor and founder of the World Wide Web, or World Wide Web (www). To this he worked when he was a consultant software engineer at CERN in Switzerland, from June to December 1990 [1]. As director of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), he oversees the development of protocols and web languages like HTML, XML, CSS and HTTP.[1]
