Endemic from Korea, it is found in a few localities in Central zone of the peninsula [1]and included in Red List IUCN as Endangered species[2]

S.koreensis and S.mollis subsp griffithii (both included on Keiserlingia by Yakovlev) share many features of wing morphology [3] lupin alkaloids[4]
