liquorice Glycyrrhiza glabra is a traditional Chinese medicine, with many described properties includying antiviral, antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, antiarthritis^[1] ^[2] ^[3] Two terpenoids compounds are antiviral.

Hypokalemia and hypertension are the most frequent adverse symptoms^[4] ^[5]
