Jozef Pieters better known as Nechi Pieters, (Curaçao, Sept. 16, 1898 - there, Sept. 26, 1960), was a teacher and painter on the island of Curaçao.The Roman Catholic elementary school 'Kolegio Nechi Pieters' in Buena Vista and the street 'Kaya Nechi Pieters' in the Jongbloed neighborhood are named after him.[1]
