Joseph Franklin Rutherford (Morgan County (Missouri), November 8, 1869 - San Diego (California), January 8, 1942) was elected on January 6, 1917 to second President of the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society (Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society) of Jehovah's Witnesses. Rutherford was some years personal lawyer of Charles Taze Russell, founder of the International Bible Students Association (International Bible Students Association: IBSA) and the Watchtower Society. From these Bible Students Association sprouted include Jehovah's Witnesses. The Watchtower Society is today publishing their organ.[1]
