The Goofersmolen is a former windmill in Blerick, a district of the Dutch municipality of Venlo. The mill was originally a wooden stand mill and, according to records, dates from 1685.
The name of the mill is derived from the former inhabitants, the Goofers family. The wooden mill burned down in July 1911, after which it was replaced by a stone, octagonal Frisian corn mill. It was blown up by the Germans during the Second World War in November 1944. After that the mill was not rebuilt anymore [1]
