under dutch Name Kaap Hoorn, in the evening of 26th Januar 1616 passed Strait Le Maitre, Schouten and Le Maire discover the southmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago:Cape Horn (Spanish Cabo de Hornos).
