On August 12, 2015 around 23:30 CST (16:30 CET), there were two explosions occurred in a storage drive and / or the container terminal in the port of the Chinese port city of Tianjin. The explosions caused an earthquake respectively, a power 2.3 and 2.9 on the moment magnitude scale, and were equivalent to respectively 3 and 21 tons of TNT. The explosion and subsequent shockwave injured hundreds of people and led to the provisional death toll at more than 100, including a large proportion firefighters who had started the fires during the first explosion. Until a few kilometers broke windows. Six thousand people homeless.
