Serge Largot, artist's name of Ernest (Nesten) Aerts , (Bruges (B), June 14, 1929 - Grandpré in Lorraine (F), July 1, 2019) was a Belgian painter, poet and art theorist.
He had a preference for abstract painting and wrote poetry in both French and Dutch.
He founded the artistic movements Lumen Numen and Artension and in 1968 the VAGA movement in Antwerp and Brussels, the two most important Belgian cities. Shortly thereafter, he was the initiator of the International Cultural Center ICC in Antwerp.
In the literary field, he collaborated with, among others, Adriaan Peel and Irene van Kerckhoven.
