Piotrków Trybunalski is a city in Central Poland Lodz Province. In 1939 there were 50,000 inhabitants, 10,610 Jews living in Piotrków Trybunalski. This is where the first Jewish ghetto originated in occupied Europe. The Jews were taken to concentration camps in Auschwitz and Lublin[1]
