Macquarie University station (Sydney)
Macquarie University station is a metro station serving the Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park including the nearby Macquarie University and the Macquarie shopping centre. Formerly part of the main New South Wales railway network, it is now served by the North West Line of the Sydney Metro network.
Macquarie University station closed in September 2018 for conversion to a metro station as part of the Sydney Metro Northwest project. This included the installation of platform screen doors to separate the platform from the tracks. It reopened on 26 May 2019.
