zonisamide is an 1,2-benzisoxazole-3-methanesulfonamide, that was initally used as anticonvulsant drug and latter as Parkinson-drug.

It inhibitory action against carbonic anhydrase could be related with perception of taste, and the novo lipogenesis. [1]
