Alstom Metropolis at Tallawong.

Tallawong station is a metro station serving the Sydney suburb of Rouse Hill. It is served by North West Line of the Sydney Metro network and is the line's western terminus. Tallawong Station is 47 kilometres north west of Sydney central business district.[1]

The station was constructed as part of the Sydney Metro Northwest project and opened with the rest of the project on 26 May 2019.[2] It is named after the nearby Tallawong Road.[3] During planning and the bulk of the construction period it was known as Cudgegong Road, which runs parallel to Tallawong Road.

Platforms & services

The station is located adjacent in the southwest corner of Rouse Hill. The platforms are in a cutting about 6 metres below ground level.[1] A third track passes by the station. As a result, there is no platform 1.
