Septuagint (Latin: 'seventy', abbreviation of interpretatio septuaginta interpretum virorum, Greek: Ἡ μετάφραση τῶν Ἑβδομήκοντα, "the seventy-seven translation"), often abbreviated to LXX (= 70 in Roman numerals) is the name for the Greek translation of the Tenach or the Old Testament, which is between about 250 BC. And 100 BC. was created. Depending on the context, the Septuagint is sometimes defined differently.[1]
