Raoul de Smet is a Vlams componist. He became Laureate of the Fugata Trophy in 1995 and later joined the management board of the Union of Belgian Composers.

Member of Sabam (since 1975), Unie van Belgische Componisten (since 1978), Componistenarchipel Vlaanderen (since 1990) [1]
