Mathilde Wauters is a Belgian harpist. She was a pupil of Eline Groslot at the Stedelijk conservatorium in Bruges, Belgium and of Amira Metodieva for a short time.
Awards
- In 2012, she won the Belgian national Belfius Classics - music competition at the Munt Royal Opera theatre in Brussels.
- She was awarded the medal "Amira Metodieva" for the performance of Belgian composers in 2012 by the Union of Belgian Composers.
- At the tribute concert in 2018 to the Belgian harpist, composer and conductor Frits Celis she played the apotheosis with the Hymn to the Belgian composer August De Boeck for harp solo.
- She obtained the bronze medal in the 2019 Lyon and Healy USA International Harp Competition in Chicago, Illinois and Bloomington, Indiana and the prize of the Best Concerto Performance.
