under dutch Name Kaap Hoorn, in the evening of 26th Januar 1616 passed Le Maitre Strait, Schouten and Le Maire discover the southmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago on January 29th:Cape Horn (Spanish Cabo de Hornos).
