Jacksonian seizure
Jackson demonstrated that symptoms of seizure could start in the periphery and march up (so called Jacksonian march) a limb and that unilateral seizure could generalize Jackson self named uncinate seizure or middle level fit because they originate in the motor region of the central system, today popularized as Jacksonian seizures <ref>The Neuropsychology of Epilepsy.<ref>
