Dichlorobenzyl alcohol

Strepsils is a medicine from Reckitt Benckiser for sore throat and sore throat. The Strepsils brand name was first introduced in 1950 as Mouthwash. Strepsils is available without a prescription. The lozenges cannot cure the sore throat, but they can relieve it. There are different variants of Strepsils, such as lemon, honey and orange. The primary active ingredients are dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol, with some formulations containing ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Inactive ingredients include menthol, tartaric acid, and propylene glycol.
