Cornelia de Lange (Alkmaar, June 24, 1871 - Amsterdam, January 28, 1950) was a pediatrician and professor of pediatrics. She was the fifth female doctor in the Netherlands. She graduated from the renowned gynecologist Hector Treub. Johanna ter Meulen was her roommate.

In 1933 she described as a pediatrician in Amsterdam for the first symptoms of a syndrome that they observed in two mentally disabled girls. This Cornelia de Lange Syndrome then got its name.[1]
