The Semantic Web (eng. Semantic Web) is an extension of the World Wide Web (WWW). The concept is based on a proposal made by Tim Berners-Lee [Berners Lee et al.2001], the founder of the World Wide Web. The aim of the Semantic Web is to make the meaning (the relation, which is encoded into characters, see semantics) formally set in machine-readable data[1]
